Here at Adventureland Day Nursery we aim to give a positive, stimulating and happy environment for each and every child who attends our setting. Our aim is that your child achieves a positive self-image.
We want them to become independent and confident individuals thus enabling them to be responsible and independent learners. We encourage them to form positive relationships with adults and their peers.
We encourage them to explore their environment as this plays a key role in supporting and expanding their development.
At Adventureland your child is a unique individual and we understand that they are your pride and joy. We ensure that they are cared for at the highest level at Adventureland Day Nursery allowing you to be sure they are safe and secure whilst in our care.
The Children…
The Baby Room
From 3 months up until 2 years, children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. In a naturally stimulating environment they learn through sensory experiences and ‘messy’ play. They can move around safely and freely under close supervision by nursery staff who provide every encouragement.
Children develop their crawling and walking skills and furniture is at low level allowing them to pull themselves up and stand independently as they grow. In a home from home atmosphere children find confidence. They are encouraged to discover things for themselves by exploring and participating in floor activities.
2-3 Year Olds
In this section there are several open ‘airy’ spaces for children from 2 to 3 year olds. Here they learn and socialise together with a mixture of free play and activities.
They are encouraged to be healthy, happy, independent and confident. They are supported in making their own choices and decisions and can develop their own ideas with supportive staff and inviting resources. Opportunities include a home corner, a book corner and a dressing up area with materials and utensils you might find at home. They can build with blocks and crates and develop their technology skills with iPads and tablets. This is what makes Adventureland one of the most trusted and relied on day nursery schools in Walsall.
Pre-School
Children develop at different speeds so, as part of our newly extended area, we have recently introduced this special pre-school section to provide a level of learning and stimulation for those children from 3 years onwards who are becoming ready for transition to Primary School.
Here they are encouraged to reach their Early Learning Goals whilst still following the Foundation Stage. They are encouraged to further develop their communication skills, counting, critical thinking, motor skills and discovery of the environment.
About Us
We are proud to have achieved an official Good Ofsted rating. We offer the best of both indoor and outdoor facilities, an excellent team of nursery nurses, a dedicated baby area and much more.
The nursery is available for babies and children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The day nursery includes an outdoor and indoor play area, kitchen corner, sandpit, all-weather play zone, book & IT Corner, cosy corner, sensory room, story time and creative room. These facilities will ensure your child can learn whilst having plenty of fun; the professional staff making sure to monitor and take good care of the children no matter what activity they’re taking part in. The nursery is open 7.30am to 6pm. A holiday club also runs during half terms from 8am to 5.30pm where children are taken on trips, use the climbing wall and a range of other activities.

Introducing
Famly!
Here at Adventureland, we understand how important communication is. We love to chat to parents / carers / grandparents etc at the beginning and end of the day but understand that isn't always possible. To help bridge the gap we decided to introduce Famly.
Famly helps us communicate throughout the day with all who use it. With live updates you'll know what your child has eaten and how much, if they have had a sleep the list goes on.....
We can also send out observations and posts and inform everyone of any upcoming events.
Your monthly or weekly invoice will also be sent out via Famly and allows quick viewing with a breakdown of costs included.
We love how much more freedom Famly has given us, it is a great addition to our nursery.

Car Parking
We have ample parking and would ask you to respect the marked parking bays. Entry to the Nursery is by a dedicated entrance separate from the entry to the play centre via our garden area. This is via an intercom system.
