Adventureland Day Nursery has its own first class kitchen facilities where food is freshly cooked on the premises by our experienced chefs, without added sugar or salt.
The premises ‘5 Rating’ for Hygiene was renewed in September 2014.
Individual dietary requirements are taken into account whether they are for religious, medical, allergies or just likes and dislikes. We vary the menu over a 3 week period.
We consider meal times to be a social event. They are organised to provide this and we believe it is very important that our nursery staff sit with the children to help them eat independently at an early age but assisting when required.

Why, here at Adventureland, we believe in healthy eating…
Encouraging children to eat a nutritious, balanced diet early on is important for a number of reasons. Ensuring they get the right vitamins and minerals in their diet will help them grow and develop optimally. They are also more likely to be energised and motivated, supporting their ability to learn. Educating them on healthy eating during childhood will also help them make healthier choices as they become adults.
